Crowds

Admittedly, this hike doesn’t start off very scenic as you walk through a big culvert under the railroad tracks but it gets better quickly as you leave civilisation behind and scramble around the rocks past deep pools and shady caves. The cairned trail is difficult to follow in places but once you're up on top the views are expansive..

If you have the energy you can hike to the impressive Jeep Arch. It's only 2 miles from the trailhead but there's 1000 feet of elevation gain. To get there drive north of Moab and turn left onto UT279 Potash Road for 10 miles. Shortly after the signed parking for Corona Arch, park in a pullout by the obvious culvert under the railroad tracks.

This is a half day hike but you can spend longer freestyling this super scenic area.
