Near the White Rim Overlook is a little used and very steep (at first) trail that descends 1500 feet via switchbacks from the mesa all the way to the White Rim. The 5.5 mile roundtrip trail is very rough in places with some exposure to drop-offs. Great views all the way but remember what goes down must come up.
