Trailhead access

Crowds

A very quiet, pretty and, in places, verdant canyon full of wildlife and just a few miles from the hurly burly of downtown Moab. The trailhead is close to Pritchett Canyon and it's possible to do a loop hike through both canyons, though I've not hiked it. Most people just hike out and back – a 2-5 miles roundtrip. The beginning section of the hike is shady but eventually the canyon opens up. Watch out for Hunter Arch.

To get to the trailhead, drive west 7.5 miles on Kane Creek Boulevard from its junction with highway 191 in downtown Moab to a small parking area.
