The 2.5 mile roundtrip hike begins with a scramble up to the top of a ridge. This is the hardest part. Once at the top the landscape  is very scenic and gets better and better as you near your destination. You'll pass the Marching Men, huge towers eroded from a sandstone fin. From here it's a short walk to Tower Arch, nestled in an area of fins. A great place for a shady lunch. Retrace your steps to the trailhead.

The 2WD (in dry weather) Salt Valley Road gets you to the Bluffs – take a left off the main Arches road close to the Fiery Furnace parking lot and drive approximately 7 miles to a junction. Then turn left and drive 1 mile to the trailhead parking lot.
